Artist Statement "George Carlson, a Master painter - sculptor, shared with me many years ago, "If you call yourself a true artist, be a well-rounded one." These powerful selected words, so inspirational, have molded my many years of creating art. And so, I strengthened the ability to sculpt in stone, cast in bronze, organic earth clays, to oil painting and working in mixed media.
My love for travel has opened up so many amazing places to paint, whether the dry desert or the fields in Europe. Each experience has pushed me deeper and forced me to challenge myself by feeling and thinking outside of the box, exploring new ways to experience creating art."

She is a student of life and every sculptural form Nura creates tells a story.
