“We chose the title ‘Red Dirt Trail’ for our show because it represents our 20+ years of living in the West. The title embodies the many special places we’ve travelled, whether it’s New Mexico, Oklahoma, Colorado, or beyond. In these revered realms, our boots press into that rich, red earth, leaving faint tracks and picking up dust, ephemeral. We find it so inspiring for our paintings. This show rounds up our impressions and ideas, the people we met, the animals, the fantastic scenery: all discovered while walking that Red Dirt Trail.
